Rosland Capital unveils its first ever 100 oz gold coin to commemorate the 1000th Formula 1™ Grand Prix.
The largest gold coin created in celebration of the 1000th Formula 1™ Grand Prix, held in April 2019, is a spectacular 100 oz, 150mm diameter, 999.9 fine gold proof. This is one of the largest ever minted in Rosland’s Exclusive Specialty coin collections, and only one such proof will ever be offered.
The 1,000th Grand Prix coin features the names of historic locations that have hosted the FIA Formula One World Championship™ since its inception in 1950, as well as the distinctive Shanghai skyline and dynamic F1 logo. The obverse side of the coin features Ian Rank-Broadley’s portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II together with the legal tender value of the coin. The coin is accompanied by an acrylic display block, carbonite presentation case, and a numbered certificate of authenticity including a statement of proof quality, metal fineness, weight, and the signature of the Swiss assayer who certifies the work of PAMP SA, one of the world’s finest coin producers.
